Easy Instant Pot Recipes

Are you debating purchasing an Instant Pot? I am so glad I made the decision to purchase an Instant Pot last year!

I tested many popular instant pot recipes from Pinterest, and want to share my favorite easy Instant Pot recipes with you.

These easy dump and start Instant Pot recipes are great for beginners.

It was 2018, I was working full time, didn’t get home until about 6 pm every night, and by that time I was HANGRYI love cooking and wanted to eat healthily, but I didn’t have the time or energy to cook dinner and clean the kitchen every night.

Some days, I would use my slow cooker to make dinner, but I didn’t feel comfortable having it on all day while I was at work.  I began looking for a pressure cooker because I heard great things about how quick and easy they were to use.

I researched reviews on the many different brands and the instant pot had all the features I was looking for, at a great price.

Instant Pot Kalua Pork and Cabbage

When I lived in Hawaii, I ate Kalua Pig and Cabbage at least once a week.

In Hawaii, the pig is cooked in the ground for hours.

I use to cook it in a slow cooker for 20 hours! Now, It only takes about an hour and a half in the instant pot.

I serve this shredded Kalua Pork and cabbage with steamed rice and macaroni salad (Hawaiian style).

This recipe also makes great leftovers.

My husband loves when I make pulled pork sandwiches the next day.

I just heat the shredded pork in a pan, or microwave it with barbecue sauce until its warm enough to eat.

Most days I don’t have the time or energy to drive to the grocery store. Since having a baby, I have been ordering my groceries through Amazon Fresh.

There is a monthly fee, but it’s worth time and money you save.

When going to the grocery store, I have spent almost double the money on food that I didn’t plan on purchasing.

Skip the grocery line, and order your groceries on your time. The food has always been fresh, and I love that I can choose a delivery time.
